Opening Prayer: Dear Lord, grant me understanding and illumination as I ponder on your word in Jesus name.

No believer should ever feel self-sufficient and in no need of anyone’s help (Proverbs 27:17,18). When you are inward looking you fail to see the needs of others and eventually, they will fail to notice your presence. It will be a big surprise if you reap melons where you have sown maize. We need to bear each other’s burdens (Philippians 2:4), as well as help bring back those who have gone astray or demonstrate that they are losing the way (James 5:20).
Notice the entitlement of those who teach the word of God (Galatians 6:6). Are you faithfully supporting your Pastors, Evangelists, and other servants of God? What should be our driving force in giving (Galatians 6:7-8)? God is all-knowing. He knows what we can do.
Perseverance in doing good brings about God’s rewards. Rewards can come in any form: spiritual, material, financial, etc. Can you identify some of those rewards in your life? If then, thank and praise God. If not, ask Him to open your eyes to see them. Then count your blessings one by one. It might surprise you what He has done.

Closing Prayer:
Dear Father, help me to be selfless and to bear one another’s burden so fulfil the law of Christ.
